In January, to mark the continuation of the Champs Academies program, we hosted a dedicated press event at the Campeón offices in Kotzia Square, officially launching Year 3.
The event welcomed journalists and media representatives from various outlets, alongside key stakeholders of the program. Representatives from all participating academies—Papagou, Milon, Triton, Palaio Faliro, YMCA Thessaloniki, 10A Academy, and Keravnos Strovolou—shared their insights on the value of the initiative and their experience as part of Champs Academies.
The gathering also served as a platform to present this year’s vision and further strengthen the collaboration between all partners involved.
We were honored by the presence of Champs Academies Ambassador, Vasilis Xanthopoulos, who continues to actively support the program and inspire the next generation.
A special guest of the event was former international basketball player Sofoklis Schortsanitis, who highlighted the importance of sport and, in particular, the role of academies in shaping young athletes both on and off the court.
The press event reflected the essence of Champs Academies: a program that extends beyond sport, fostering values, connection, and meaningful development for the next generation.
